Squame WIP

Squama (or squamous, plural squame) refers to a structure shaped like the scale of a fish. ; Squame hat was inspired by a silk screen I designed a while back (bottom part of the photo). I wanted to give these scales a new life as a knitting pattern. The hat is knit with Blue Sky Alpacas Skinny Dyed Cotton yarn and US 4 and 5 needles. I'm still working an a few adjustments.
