Last night dinner
This is a very basic and easy recipe by the Israeli chef Haim Cohen, here it is in Hebrew. I added 1 Japanese potato, 1 carrot and 1/2 kohlrabi, cut to small pieces and cooked them with the lentils. I didn't add the bread but sautéed shallots with diff mushrooms and home made spices and added them on top. Yummy.

Remember these amazing Tahini Cookies I made over the summer? I got the recipe from my dear friend Sharon, who was kind enough to let me translate it to English and share it with all of you. Thank you Sharon. Very easy and delicious cookies.

(Caret) Vim
A new project named Caret Vim for the chevron fair isle design I came up with energy and enthusiasm I felt when I started knitting again. • The caret is an inverted V-shaped symbol. It was originally
used, and continues to be, in handwritten form as a proofreading mark to
indicate where a punctuation mark, word, or phrase should be inserted in a
document. • More info about yarn, needle size and pattern will be available soon.

No more twist
The textile design studio NoMoreTwist unites 3 designers
around a giant loom. The brand’s DNA is textile. Each new production considers
the thread itself, its thickness, texture, color and, above all, the various
ways of interlocking it. more here.

Peruvian pork and quinoa soup
So perfect for winter, this hearty soup is delicious and healthy. Unfortunately I can't eat Quinoa, I used Kasha (buckwheat) instead. The flavors are very delicate, I followed the recipe but added both yams and all the pork. I also loved the addition of cilantro and lime. You can find the recipe here. Enjoy.

Papelillo
Bougainvillea is also known as papelillo in northern Peru. This happy hat is a gift to my dearest friend Noa, I hope she will fall in-love with the colors as I did. What a fun and easy project with such fantastic results. It's my first knit project after a long break and I enjoyed every minute. • You can find the free pattern here, and what I did here.
