About a hat is a plain garter hat in the front, and a colorful fun crown in the back, and was knit with cotton yarn. All my previous hats were knit with merino or another form of wool that is stretchy, and therefor work great for hat brims. Because of the non-stretchy cotton I used, the hat has to fit exactly. I'm going to try and find a diff yarn that I'm not allergic to, and is suitable for knitting hats, and then I hope to release the pattern. About a hat can be finished in three diff ways, an i-cord finish, plain or adding a pompom.
