Process (3rd step)
My next step is to calculate how much yarn I need. I ordered 1 skein of each color, CotLin yarn weighs 50 grams a skein. Each square weighs 12 grams. Each color (other than white) weighs approx. 2-3 grams. White weighs approx. 4-5 grams. ; Here is how much yarn I need for each color: Red (in 9 squares) = 27 grams • Blue (in 11 squares) = 33 grams • Orange (in 8 squares) = 24 grams • Yellow (in 8 squares) = 24 grams • Green (in 4 squares) = 12 grams • Dark brown (in 10 squares) = 30 grams • Mid brown (in 13 squares) = 39 grams • Light brown (in 15 squares) = 45 grams • White (in 20 squares) = 100 grams • I'm going to order 2 more skeins of the white just in-case I need a little more than 100 grams.
