Inspired
Silk print image that I drew by hand, scanned into Photoshop as a template, and re-did in Illustrator to be printed in black and white on a film and transfered into a silk screen. Then it will be printed on fabric or paper. ; I got inspired by pompoms and tassels, amazing photos that U took in Morocco, and my beloved dots and triangles.

Scones
Cranberry scones (December Scones), recipe from here, and Jamie Oliver's video on how to make them here. ; I'm not sure if I like them yet. They taste better on the 2nd day. I omitted the heavy cream and sugar, and I like the fact that they are not very sweet. I would change the cranberry sauce on top to jam. What do you think? Next time when I'll make them I'll use any red jam instead of the cranberry sauce on top (like strawberry or raspberry) and add it after the scones are baked.

Squame WIP
Squama (or squamous, plural squame) refers to a structure
shaped like the scale of a fish. ; Squame hat was inspired by a silk screen I designed a while back (bottom part of the photo). I wanted to give these scales a new life as a knitting pattern. The hat is knit with Blue Sky Alpacas Skinny Dyed Cotton yarn and US 4 and 5 needles. I'm still working an a few adjustments.

A gift for you
About a Hat recipe/pattern is a gift for you for the new year. You can upload the pdf here, or click on the button at the bottom of this post. You can also get my patterns by clicking the photos on the right column. ; About a Hat is more of a recipe than a pattern. The hat is
knit with a soft, speckled and inelastic cotton acrylic blend yarn. Please note
that if using the suggested yarn, the size is limited to a head size of 21.5”
(54.5cm)–22” (56cm). If substituting yarn, please choose an inelastic one that
gives you the same gauge. To achieve different sizes, please experiment with
different yarns and needles. If you want the same look, keep a similar
proportion of needle sizes. ; About a Hat is knit in the round using leftover
cotton-acrylic blend yarn from any favorite project for the colorful crown.
Please make sure to use the same weight as your main yarn. Make sure to check
your gauge. ; There are three ways to finish About a Hat, plain, i-cord and pompom finish. Including written instructions and photos on how to make a pompom.
Thank you
