LOTTOZERO

Lottozero / textile laboratories is the brainchild of two sisters, Tessa, 34, an economist, and Arianna Moroder, 30, a textile designer and artist. When their mother died prematurely in 2012, they inherited their Sicilian grandfather’s old warehouse which had stood empty and abandoned ever since his own untimely death in 1979. For a couple of years they didn’t know what to do with the space, until, (and each sister accuses the other) one of them came up with the idea of uniting their talents and passions and slowly creating what would become the Lottozero project. After some years of planning and working and refurbishing the old warehouse, on October 15th 2016 Lottozero is ready to open its doors with a Grand Opening event called Inside Lottozero. Lottozero’s goals are to encourage the development of emerging talent through creative residencies and collaborations with established realities, and to revitalize one of the leading textile districts in Europe, Prato. -Lottozero More here.
