Reinventing the bookmark
It saddens me that most of the book stores in LA closed down. When my daughter was very young we visited the book store regularly, reading books, looking at the letters and pictures, admiring what they have to offer. We used to read to her on every occasion we could, I wanted to share my love of reading with my daughter, and I succeeded, she's an avid reader too. I'm looking at this amazing bookmark project above and I'm happy that there are still people that appreciate holding a real book in their hands, flipping the pages and marking them with bookmarks.

I completely agree with you. It s sad that more and more independent bookstores have to close down. I always carry a book in my handbag and i refuse buying a kindle. I love the touch of the pages, the different fonts and i usually use postcards friends sent me or just postcards i find on my trips as bookmarks. Thiese bookmarks though look amazing! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea to use postcards as bookmarks, I love that. Both represent traveling to diff places.
