The Brewery Art Walk

The creation of the Brewery Arts Complex began in 1982 at the site of the Pabst Blue Ribbon Brewery. With the passing of the Artist-In-Residence code, artists could rent live/work space in industrially zoned buildings. The Brewery ArtWalk is a twice annual open studio weekend at the worlds largest art complex. More here.

nCycle

3 weavers

Over the weekend we went to a brewery opening in Englewood. I'm not a beer drinker but I have to say that the place is gorgeous. They have a tasting room that will be open from November 7th. Enjoy.

Marbling

I went to another great workshop at French General, learning how to marble paper and fabric. I had such a great time. You can see a few of my paper marbling on top, the first photo is the paper I cleaned the water bath with, it was too beautiful to discard.

WestEdge

I went to WestEdge Design Fair in Santa Monica over the weekend, it was great to see all the creative minds, so inspiring. Thank you Limor and Mark.

Run walk

Knitting again

I miss knitting so much, I decided to give it a go again and check my allergies around cotton yarn. I'm knitting my "About a Hat" free pattern with a few changes of course. The main color is muted pink and I'm adding different colored stripes. Same yarn and needles as in the pattern.
