Shades of winter ; Dress up

You just have to look up to see all LA's shades of winter ; Stones I picked up on my latest nature walk. Sometimes I like to dress them up.

Wrapped

All wrapped bracelets/necklaces were made with semi precious, silver and brass beads. Leather cords, silk floss and Irish waxed linen. ; All were inspired by my dearest freind Noa.

Ceramics ; NuView

A few ceramic pieces I got at the Santa Monica College sale ; The look of the NuView window logo and brochure was inspired by the curves in the window, and the colors of nature.

Scapula wrap

In anatomy, the scapula, omo (Medical Latin), or shoulder blade, is the bone that connects the humerus (upper arm bone) with the clavicle (collar bone). In humans, it is a flat bone, roughly triangular in shape. ; Scapula is a winter shoulder wrap that can be worn in many diff ways. Its long and narrow shape makes it easy to adjust.

WIP ; A good cause

Eventually I hope to make a shoulder bag from the hand stitched pieces. ; I loved being part of an amazing project, designing their new look for 2008, I got inspired by all the love and the support.
